Are you interested in taking part in a Medical study for COPD?

We are currently looking for people who have experienced at least 1 flare-up of their COPD symptoms in the last 12 months.

Participants of the COPD trial will receive adequate financial remuneration per study visit as well as receiving travel expenses.

The trial will be conducted in High Wycombe (HP11 2QW)

Training for medical professionals

This study will be investigating whether a new treatment could help manage COPD exacerbations (often called flare-ups, where COPD symptoms get worse) in patients who are currently receiving treatment for COPD.

Who can join?

​You may be suitable if you:

  • Have been diagnosed with COPD for at least one year before the start of the study

  • Are 40 years of age or older

  • Are a current smoker OR a former smoker

Please note, if you have a current asthma diagnosis or have had Cancer within the last 5 years then this trial is unfortunately not available to you.

What will the study involve?

During the study, you will be asked to:

  • Come for on-site clinic visits to receive study treatment

  • Attend appointments to have tests and assessments

  • Complete questionnaires related to your well-being throughout the study using an electronic hand-held device
